BACKGROUND
it started as
"art therapy"
What kept me going was honestly resilience and family. It is the core what still drives me to this day.
The road wasn't easy after coming back from intense combat in Iraq, and I needed an outlet to help me heal. One of which was art therapy, thanks to Costco's Canon Rebel T2i camera bundle deal and the beautiful world around me. Fast forward several years and building a portfolio of photography work, I got into dance photography while my daughter competed around the U.S.
Most of my work experience came from Veteran advocacy and fighting for his/her benefits and their family, during which I obtained my Bachelor's in Social Science. After six years of giving back to the community I decided to follow my passion of being a Creative full time.
I used my vocational rehabilitation to get my Masters in Advertising and Branded Media while doing in-person class at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. While attending my Grad program, I was a content creator for Timberland Clothing Co in S.F. and also making content for a new boombox company in Stockton, Bumpboxx.
Though initially focusing on Copywriting, I ended up getting hired as a Senior Art Director for an ad agency in Oakland, CA, which led me to work for brands such as JP Morgan Chase, Chevrolet, General Motors, and Kaiser Permanente.
My love for dance photography did not stop, as I have filmed and photographed for Red Bull Media House, Turf Inc, World of Dance, dance studios and countless B-Boys and B-Girls.
So when they ask what type of Creative I am, I really can't pinpoint ONE style.
Writer. Yes.
Conceptual Art Director. Yes
Photographer. Yes
Videographer. Yes
I am a Producer of Creative - from ideation, to script, to behind the lens and editing.
Because of my life experience and the resilient path I have traveled on, I bring a unique skillset
to the table. The only question is, will you let me cook?

CAPABILITIES
WHAT I BRING
01
END-TO-END PRODUCTION
Concept, script, shoot, cut. I take an idea from a whiteboard note to a delivered asset without handing it off five times and losing what made it good in the first place.
02
BRAND STORYTELLING ON PROPERTY
Turning a resort's rooms, restaurants, floors, and headliners into stories people actually stop for — finding the angle that sells the experience instead of just documenting it.
03
CREW & CREATIVE DIRECTION
Running the shot list, the crew, and the stakeholders in the same breath. Clear briefs, protected timelines, and a set where talent and partners know exactly what we're making before the camera turns on.
04
TEAM MENTORSHIP
Building creatives, not just deliverables. Real reps, honest notes, and a team that runs well whether or not I'm on the call sheet.
05
PITCH & PRESENTATION
Decks, strategic narratives, and client-room confidence.
06
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP
Marine Corps-trained collaboration across teams, vendors, leadership, and clients.
